PURCHASING OFFICER

Гүйцэтгэх үндсэн үүрэг

Purchasing Officer Responsibilities include evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts and preparing orders, arranging shipment and receiving, distributing all items and sales, maintaining the products in chain stores, analyze market situation and preparing reports. For this role, you should have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you’re identifying the most profitable offers.  You will review prices and quality and ensure optimal stock levels. Ultimately, you’ll create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and delivered on time.

 

Responsibilities

  • Research potential vendors
  • Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
  • Negotiate conditions, terms of agreement and pricing
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Review quality of purchased products
  • Enter order details ( vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
  • Coordinate with stores, warehouse and service staffs to ensure proper process
  • Meet with service center and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action
  • Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends Cross train and educate floor sales men to encourage sales skill growth

Requirements

 Proven working experience as purchasing officer, agent is preferred

  • Education, Experience & Certification - Bachelor’s degree in foreign trade, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field preferred 
  • Fluent in English and plus Russian if preferred
  • Strong analytical & data management skills; high attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook and others),
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to changing situations, duties, and responsibilities associated with a rapidly growing company
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Strong communication skill
