We are currently seeking for a Sales Manager to join our Sales & Marketing ;

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales and within the limits of established hotel policies and procedures, oversees day to day sales efforts of Sales Managers and Sales Executives, with specific responsibilities for directing sales, training, and implementing action plans set forth in the Marketing Plan in accordance with established procedures required by the Hotel and Company in order to deliver the Shangri-La Standards and Experience to guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skill to maximize hotel profit in all revenue producing areas.
  • Assists the Director of Sales in the forecasting of revenues for Group segments.
  • Maintains the highest standards of professionalism and friendly attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, suppliers and colleagues and builds positive working relationships.
  • Maintains positive communication and builds close rapport with Regional Sales Offices and National Sales Offices, establishes effective communication channel to all business partners.
  • Works closely with Sales Managers/ Executives in developing sales accounts and Hotel business.
  • Manages own sales accounts and establishes personal sales goals, and be responsible for a representative selection of key accounts.
  • Assists in the execution of familiarization/site inspection trips to hotels by major clients.
  • To effectively carry out projects and assignment delegated by the Director of Sales.

Sits in and actively participates in regular sales meetings and implement actions relevant to sales

EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Similar capacity in existing hotel or at least 2 years as Sales Coordinator and has establish good contacts with clients.
  • Oral and written fluency in English.
  • Strong organizational skills & ability to work under pressure
  • Able to work independently
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Local candidates only
