Inventory Coordinator (Temporary)

JOB PURPOSE:           This position is responsible for facilitating surplus parts return to vendors and generating reports for management decision making.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate and document the Surplus return to ADC and EMP facilities in the US and Germany.
  • Maintain the progression of updates on return list until finalized.
  • Prepare invoice/PL/ and other documents requested by the customs for parts export.
  • Keep record on return invoice and credit data and calculate the variance for Finance dept
  • Post internal customer invoices, including supplies, WO and Jobs
  • Post adjustments in requested by internal customers, including exchange components, and receipt adjustments.
  • Transfer items between locations including but not limited to reman cores.
  • Generate monthly parts KPI report.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement for parts operations based on KPI.
  • Fill out Parts Barometer table based on KPI report using PBM web
  • Provide Service Clerk Supervisor with monthly CAT Sales report by Revenue, Nonrevenue WOs using info from database
  • Generate reports for items ordered by air and its fees and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate reports for external Audit and on demand basis for line supervisors.
  • Creates a zero-accident workplace by promoting hazard reporting and accident prevention
  • Be equipped with necessary occupational health and safety knowledge and competencies
  • Creates a zero harm workplace by adapting risk control hierarchy in the workplace

EDUCATION:  University degree in Economics, Business or a related field

 

QUALIFICATION & RELEVANT WORKING EXPERIENCE:

  • Intermediate level English, fluent written and spoken Mongolian required.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience required.

 

TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Computer
  • SIS access
  • ACCPAC access

 

FOUNDATIONAL COMPETENCIES: 

  • Extensive knowledge of the nature of the business
  • Extensive knowledge of parts department operations
  • Extensive knowledge of inter-departmental relations
  • Working knowledge of CAT and other vendor’s supply chain

INFORMATION SYSTEMS REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Accpac- User’s advanced level IC, Service manager, PO modules
  • Microsoft- Users’ advanced level Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Crystal-User's intermediate level
  • Access- User's intermediate level
  • SIS- User's intermediate level
