Supports the Top Management in the SHE Policy, Quality Policy and SHEQ Guidelines issue.
Produces and coordinates the yearly SHEQ action plan and longer term SHEQ roadmap, prepares reports for monthly update.
Ensures, in accordance with the Corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the Company SHEQ Systems.
Conducts occupational health and safety related surveys (noise, lighting, exposure to chemical substances, etc.) and makes associated recommendations.
Monitors the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Quality System procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives.
Monitors the Site “permit-to-work” system to ensure compliance with Company and Client standards.
Acts as “Dangerous Goods” Safety Advisor (DGSA).
Provides for motivation and familiarization of all Company personnel respecting the importance of complying with Company system procedures and all Safety tools provided.
Enforces company policies to establish a culture of health and safety.
Reports on quality, health, safety and environment awareness, issues and statistics.
Assists the Commercial, Sales and Operations Department in their dealings with Clients in all issues concerned with Quality, Health and Safety at work.
Conducts SHEQ internal audits. Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations.
Takes part in accident / incident investigation.
Carries out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement opportunities or new prevention measures.
Inspects equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
Provides technical support to Senior Management on any safety related subjects. Advises line management on Site of health, safety, quality and environmental matters and manages this process to ensure all advice is incorporated into day-to-day processes and operations.
Carries out any in-house safety training about quality, health, environment and safety issues and risks. Ensures that there is adequate staff and trains the SHE responsible personnel to provide support on project sites.
Ensures that the strict disciplinary action has been enforced in case there is any violation by a staff member and reporting it to the higher authority.
Carries out safety and quality audits on Sub-contractors.
Performs Risk Assessment.
Facilitates all forms of risk assessment e.g. general, manual handling, fire prevention and acts as a final authority where a specialist response is required in relation to risk assessments performed by others on site.
Evaluates and ensures proper use and maintenance of PPE.
Assists with tender - submission SHEQ related documentation.

Fluent English verbally and in writing is essential
Bachelor's or above degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental science or Quality assurance
Working knowledge in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Management Systems (Environmental protection, Incident Investigation, HSE Auditing and/or Quality Auditing Techniques, Fire Safety);
At least 3 years of experience in Quality, Environmental, Health or Safety position.
Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
