Purpose of the position: To serve as a catalyst, partnership broker, and builder of the capacity of local partners, facilitating the emergence and strengthening of community-led initiatives to take ownership of the improvement and sustenance of the well-being of children and their families. This position will support the implementation of the project and ensure that all the admin related duties, as well as project management, are running smoothly in a timely manner and the desired project implementation standards. The project will be closed by June 30, 2020.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engaging and visioning with communities;
• Ensure project quality through effective planning, implementation and monitoring with communities and partners;
• Facilitate Project Module successfully at the designated areas;
• Capacity building of partners and community;

Essential Qualifications, Skills & Competencies:

• University Degree in Social science and Development or other related fields;
• Strong understanding of community led-development work and facilitation;
• Preference for good written and oral communication skills in English;
• At least 3 years of experience on community development and project management;
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills;
• Good team player and teamwork skills;
• Strong organizational skill and attention to detail;
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and research skills;
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with a range of actors of diverse backgrounds;
• Commitment to Ethos, Core Value and Mission statement of WVM;
