Service Associate – Accountant
Under the guidance and supervision of the Financial Controller – you are responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate finance and administrative operations by complying with the corporate standards and policies. This includes processing and monitoring payments and expenditures of general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable. You will be ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and payment of all general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable. The Accountant must have a complete knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, chart of accounts, and receiving and purchasing operations.

Service Associate – Storekeeper
Under the guidance and supervision of the Purchasing Manager – you will be responsible for storing and issuing and overall function of all food and beverage supplies
Maintain an adequate inventory so that products are not out of stock between deliveries
Minimizing investment in inventory
Keeping accurate records of all transactions
Arranging and numbering all items in the storeroom
Knowledge of storeroom items that are being purchase so that can judge the quality if merchandise received
Ensuring that all storeroom areas are clean
Conducting a monthly inventory that should reconcile with the Cost Control Department
Perform all other duties assigned by Purchasing Manager
Under the guidance of the Guest Service Center Supervisor – You will be performing PABX functions in the hotel. You will accurately connect telephone calls and you are responsible for the efficient and smooth flow of calls to every department. You will need to provide the highest level of telecommunications service to both internal and external callers.
Knowledgeable in handling all Guest Service Center daily operations
Ensures to follow and adhere to the company culture & standards/ requirements, guidelines & Shangri-La Experience established by the Hotel
Knowledgeable of the operational systems at Service Centre e.g PABX/ Call accounting software
Answer and attend to all enquiries by in house guests with the most courteous, friendly and efficient manner
Practice personalized service to all guests requests
Responsible for the orderliness, tidiness and smooth operation of the Service Centre
Provides guests with any information pertaining to the hotel and country
Receives requests for wake up calls for in house guests to be given to the operator
Ensure that all equipment are in perfect working condition and are used for their Specific purpose and not wasted
To be knowledgeable of hotel policies and procedures, including emergency procedures and know what to do when emergency arises
Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor or Manager
Under the guidance and supervision of the Executive Assistant Manager – you are responsible in assisting the Front Office Manager for the administration and operation of the Front Office division to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay for customers by ensuring the implementation of company standards to maximize profits, enforce quality standards, maintain high staff performance and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Under the guidance and supervision of the Executive Housekeeper and Director of Rooms, you will provide supervision, direction, training and leadership to laundry team based on the company culture. You will also assist, implement and drive effective and efficient laundry initiatives & activities and ensure to maintain top level cleanliness following Company set policies, standards and procedures.
Ensures the highest level of cleanliness & consistent supply of hotel linens & employee uniforms
Ensures high level of customer service & guest laundry standard is maintained
Works effectively with the Engineering department on equipment maintenance needs
Develops, maintains and uses effective back-up plans for machine & equipment breakdowns.
Evaluates and implements new techniques, supplies and equipment.
Conduct budgeting, purchasing, forecasting, inventory control & monitors expenses
Ensures that laundry functions are in complete compliance with OSHA guidelines and requirements.
Handles guest feedback with regards to quality and team’s performance & takes corrective actions based on their feed back
Ensure to promote actively team work within laundry department and maintain strong interdepartmental relations
