Service Associate – Front Office

Service Associate – Front Office (Guest Relations Officer) Under the supervision of the Guest Relations Manager with the guidance of the Guest Relations Supervisor – you are responsible for taking care of Golden Circle and VIP guests to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay for customers by ensuring the implementation of company standards to maximize profits, enforce quality standards, maintain high staff performance and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will be coordinating with all concerned departments to fulfill guest needs and requests. You should assist hotel guests efficiently,courteously and professionally. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:   Excellent knowledge and practice in handling Guest Relations operations (i.e. VIP Check In and Out) Ensures to follow and adhere to the company culture & standards/ requirements, guidelines & Shangri-La Experience established by the Hotel Deals with guests’ needs & inquiries, comments, feedback, guest complaints and implements corrective actions when needed. Ensures a high level of Guest delight within the department and hotel. Ensures strong guest recognition within the department and hotel. Ensures Lobby presence is maintained and lobby is kept neat, cleaned and maintained at all times. Ensures a smooth running of the department Performs other duties as assigned by Service Manager –Guest Relations.

Service Associate –Security (Guard, Timekeeper) Under the guidance and supervision of the Security Manager – you are responsible for assisting the Security Manager to ensure the safety and security of all internal and external hotel guests. You are in charge of managing, overseeing and guiding the security officers’behavior and performance to ensure they protect the property against theft, vandalism and crime. Key responsibilities:   Knowledgeable on Security daily operations and functions Familiar with all policies, procedures, manuals relating to the department During working hours, always patrols hotel premises including offices, kitchens, guest floors, function rooms, and outlets etc. Monitor at authorized entrances and exits for departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of hotel premises Monitor CCTV for abnormal activities on crime prevention Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences Perform all duties assigned by Director of Security and Security Manager

Service Manager - Human Resources   Under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Human Resources, you will assist, implement and drive effective and efficient systems, activities & programs that will enhance colleague motivation and retention in the areas of HR Administration & Operations including Employee Relations, Recruitment & Separation, Compensation & Benefit and Colleague Welfare.  Key responsibilities:   Provides supervision, direction and leadership to HR team based on the company culture. Service Associate - Telephone / Operator

Under the guidance of the Guest Service Center Supervisor – You will be performing PABX functions in the hotel. You will accurately connect telephone calls and you are responsible for the efficient and smooth flow of calls to every department. You will need to provide the highest level of telecommunications service to both internal and external callers.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:   Knowledgeable in handling all Guest Service Center daily operations Ensures to follow and adhere to the company culture & standards/ requirements, guidelines & Shangri-La Experience established by the Hotel Knowledgeable of the operational systems at Service Centre e.g PABX/ Call accounting software Answer and attend to all enquiries by in house guests with the most courteous, friendly and efficient manner Practice personalized service to all guests requests Responsible for the orderliness, tidiness and smooth operation of the Service Centre Provides guests with any information pertaining to the hotel and country Receives requests for wake up calls for in house guests to be given to the operator Ensure that all equipment are in perfect working condition and are used for their Specific purpose and not wasted To be knowledgeable of hotel policies and procedures, including emergency procedures and know what to do when emergency arises Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor or Manager

Under the guidance and supervision of the Assistant Financial Controller – you are responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate finance and administrative operations by complying with the corporate standards and policies. This includes processing and monitoring payments and expenditures of general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable. You will be ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and payment of all general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable. The General Accountant must have a complete knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, chart of accounts, and receiving and purchasing operations.   Key responsibilities:   Assist the Assistant Financial Controller in daily supervision of Finance team in terms of accounting procedures and adherence to standard and regulations Perform the day to day processing of financial transactions to ensure that municipal finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner Provide administrative support in order to ensure effective and efficient office operations Knowledge and expertise of office administration and bookkeeping Knowledge and expertise of accounts payable, accounts receivable and maintaining general ledgers Maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information Ensure confidentiality concerning financial and employee files Perform all other duties assigned by Assistant Financial Controller

We are currently seeking for a Sales Executive to join our Sales and Marketing Team.   Sales Executive Under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales & Marketing and implementing action plans set forth in the Marketing Plan in accordance with established procedures required by the Hotel and Company in order to deliver the Shangri-La Standards and Experience to guests. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:   Implements all sales action plans related to his / her respective market as outlined in the Marketing Plan. Sells to new, existing and prospective customers considering goals set forth in the sales strategy, negotiating optimum rate for the benefit of the business. Carries own sales accounts and establishes personal & team sales goals, and be responsible for a representative selection of key accounts. Attends major client functions and promotional events to promote sales for the hotel and meets with all influential clients. Maintains the highest standards of professionalism and friendly attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, suppliers and colleagues and builds positive working relationships. Monitors sales production and adjust sales activities, account coverage and sales priorities as necessary to achieve plan goals. Develops annual sales department budget and executes the sales programs and activities within it.
