PURCHASING MANAGER

Гүйцэтгэх үндсэн үүрэг

Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the purchasing (Retail & B2B) including inventorying, ordering, receiving, distributing all items and sales; maintaining the products in chain stores, maximize efficiency of logistic cost. Manages and monitors vendor's qualification and performance to ensure they meet company's requirements. Also responsible for policy and planning for all purchasing and supply chain functions, negotiating and optimizing prices and payment terms with suppliers.

  • Responsible for purchasing functions for core business and developing vendors and workflow efficiencies within company as needed 
  • Work with vendors to find most cost effective purchasing solutions for both short term and long term
  • Analyze price proposals, cost effectiveness, and other related information to determine reasonable prices
  • Negotiate terms and costs with new vendors as required, evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed
  • Maintain a daily and monthly record of inventory system
  • Coordinate and monitor the shipping and receiving of all shipments, order and packages to insure timely and accurate delivery of all orders
  • Interact with other departments to assist with modification of their procedures to improve and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Cross train and educate floor sales men to encourage sales skill growth
  • Interview vendors and visit suppliers' plants and distribution centers to examine and learn about products, services, and prices
  • Attend meetings, trade shows, and conferences to learn about new industry trends and make contacts with suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts on behalf of their organization

Meet with service center and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action

Skills

  • Education, Experience & Certification - Bachelor’s degree in foreign trade, Supply Chain or related field preferred 
  • Fluent in English and Russian
  • Strong analytical & data management skills; high attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook and others),
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to changing situations, duties, and responsibilities associated with a rapidly growing company
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Strong administrative abilities
  • Leadership abilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • 2-5 years’ experience in Inventory Control or related field preferred
  • Age 22 until age 25 
  • Years of Experience:  Min: 1 Max: 5
